Spirit/ Luke Sensebe (Close friend ) To many the word spirit has a different meaning, it could symbolize when someone passed or it can be how they live their life. To me, when I think of Mike, it means both. Of all the the people I've met in life so far I can honestly say none have had more "spirit" then Mike. He was the one of those guys who was always smiling and always fun to be around. I still think back to my High School days when we would all go surfing together and those seem to be the memories that I'm most fond of. Mike was usually the life of the party and was liked by way too many to name and for that he will always be remembered by those who knew him. He will to me remain close at heart no matter how many miles seperated us. Living on opposite coasts I didn't have the opportunity to hang out with Mike as much as I wanted but we did always keep in touch. Mike lives on in my mind for the "spirit" he left behind in the way he lived. I will remember him always and I know he is in a better place, letting his new encounters feel his joyuful spirit. I miss you Mike (my brotha from anotha motha)
